serving society at large. Position Overview RISE Academy is seeking
subject teachers for the 20262027 school year. Teaching assignments
may include grades 612 and one or more of the following subject
areas: Sciences: life science, physical science, computer science
English Language Arts (ELA) Social Sciences: economics, geography,
history, psychology, sociology Electives: careers, life skills,
cinematic arts, culinary arts, visual arts, and other offerings
Full-time and part-time openings are available. We are seeking
mission-aligned educators who build a strong classroom culture,
deliver engaging instruction, and help students thrive
academically, spiritually, and socially through inquiry-based,
experiential learning aligned with our STREAM model (Science,
Technology, Religion, Engineering, Art, and Math). Job Expectations

key school community events Key Responsibilities Instruction and
Planning Plan, develop, and implement lesson plans that fulfill the
requirements of the schools instructional program and provide
written evidence of preparation Deliver engaging instruction using
inquiry-based, project-based, and experiential approaches aligned
to STREAM Differentiate instruction and provide accommodations for
diverse learners and learning styles Provide students with learning
experiences designed to support intellectual, emotional, physical,
spiritual, and social growth Assessment, Data, and Differentiation
Conduct ongoing assessment of student achievement using formal and
informal methods Analyze student data and use multiple assessment
techniques to adjust instruction, provide remediation/enrichment,
and support mastery Support individual student needs through
proactive case management and collaboration with colleagues Modify
curricula as needed for students with learning differences,
including implementation aligned to IEP guidelines when applicable
Complete required documentation for special programs per school
expectations and state/federal guidelines Classroom Culture and
Communication Create a classroom environment conducive to active
learning and appropriate to students developmental needs Establish
clear classroom routines and effective behavior expectations and
supports Maintain consistent, respectful communication with
students, parents/guardians, teachers, and administrators
Professional Responsibilities and School Community Participate in
professional development and collaborative planning Abide by the
staff handbook and all school policies, procedures, and applicable
laws/regulations Assist with school events and extracurricular
activities as needed Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to
take on varied responsibilities as the school grows Perform other
duties as assigned Qualifications (Required) Bachelors degree from
an accredited university in Education or a related field aligned to
the subject(s) taught (e.g., English, Science, Computer Science,
Social Sciences, Fine Arts, etc.) At least 1 year of prior teaching
experience in a formal setting (or comparable youth instructional
experience aligned to the role) Demonstrated alignment with RISE
Academys mission, vision, and faith-based environment Knowledge of
curriculum, instruction, and current research/best practices in
assigned subject area(s) Commitment to inquiry-based,
project-based, and experiential learning Ability to differentiate
instruction and modify learning experiences for varied student
needs Strong classroom management skills and ability to build a
safe, structured learning environment Strong interpersonal and
collaboration skills; communicates effectively and respectfully
with students, families, and colleagues Experience analyzing
student data and using a variety of assessment methods to guide
instruction and interventions Reflective practice: able to respond
well to feedback and adjust instruction accordingly Comfort using
educational technology and tools (email, internet, word
processing/spreadsheets, and classroom equipment such as
projectors/printers) Flexibility to take on a variety of tasks and
responsibilities as campus needs evolve Preferred Qualifications
Masters degree in a relevant field 2 years of successful teaching
experience in a formal setting Valid teaching credential (or
progress toward credentialing) Experience designing
STREAM-integrated projects and interdisciplinary learning
experiences Physical Requirements and Work Environment Ability to
occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull up to 20 pounds (classroom
supplies, desks/chairs, electronics, and other materials) Ability
to stand, move throughout classrooms/campus, and supervise students
for extended periods Frequent use of a computer/keyboard and
operation of classroom/office equipment (printers, copiers,
projectors, calculators, etc.) Consistent practice of safe working
habits and ability to maintain a safe, organized, hazard-free
classroom and workstation Occasional evening/weekend work for
school events; may include outdoor duties in varying weather
conditions Ability to clearly communicate information and
understand information communicated by others Compensation
Compensation is based on teaching credentials (non-credentialed vs.
credentialed), years of experience, academic degrees, subject(s)
taught, and certifications. Children of staff members may be
eligible for tuition discounts.
