• Design, implement, and test software features for intelligent network solutions, supporting enhanced IP/MPLS services.
• Collaborate with architects and customer support to address customer feature requests and issues.
• Develop software using C programming language.
• Work directly with customers to troubleshoot problems and validate solutions based on Broadcom Switches, PHY, and SDK.
• Develop software on embedded systems, utilizing technologies such as Unicast routing (BGP4+, OSPF v2/v3), Multicast routing (PIM, Multicast over MPLS), IPv6 (6PE, 6VPE), MPLS, Unix/Linux, C/C++, TCP/IP stacks, Linux kernel networking, hypervisor systems, routing and switching architectures, PTP, and other related tools.Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems Engineering, or related fields.
  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in the software industry, particularly with networking protocols, APIs, and documentation.
  • Proficiency in C programming, reading code, and understanding networking technology and protocols.
  • Experience in designing and writing technical documentation for networking protocols using tools like FrameMaker, Acrobat, WebWorks, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Doxygen, Javadoc, XML, and Linux.
  • Experience documenting architecture, schemas, and models of networking products and protocols.
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle.Compensation: The salary range for this role is $175,000 - $226,000 annually, negotiable based on experience and qualifications. Variable incentives may also be offered.
