Find your place in technology on #TeamAmex.How will you make an impact in this role?As a Cloud Engineer, you will be key to the development of Hybrid Cloud Platform as a Service (PaaS) architecture and systems that span multiple clouds (AWS, GCP, Azure, Private Cloud). Your responsibilities include:

• Performing rapid POCs to prove software initiatives and validate ideas for large multi-cloud platform deployments.
• Participating in the design of new systems and the redesign of existing systems to meet product requirements and changing needs.
• Supporting engineers and product managers in rapid development and deployment in an agile manner.
• Driving high-level and detailed design, conducting design reviews, and implementing features.
• Engaging with cross-functional leaders to understand and help define business principles, goals, and strategies within your scope.
• Communicating strategy directions and changes to senior leaders.
• Mentoring engineers and solution architects to ensure clear understanding of technology complexities for efficient solution implementation.
• Troubleshooting production issues, supporting support teams, and performing root cause analysis to prevent future issues, including updating support runbooks.Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Cloud Platform Engineering
  • 5+ years of software development experience using Golang, Python, or Java
  • 4+ years of experience with Kubernetes, distributed systems design, and architecturePreferred Qualifications
    • Experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, OpenShift
    • CKA/CKAD or similar cloud solution architect certifications
    • Experience with Terraform and AnsibleSalary Range: $85,000.00 to $150,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits. The actual salary will depend on location, experience, and other factors.We support our colleagues' holistic well-being through various benefits, including:
