for a travel job in Oakland, California. Job Description &
Requirements - Specialty: Biomed Technician - Discipline: Allied
Health Professional - Start Date: 08/11/2025 - Duration: 24 weeks -
40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel
Requirements: - High School Diploma or GED required. - Post High
School Vocational / Military / Specialized Training as a Biomedical
Equipment Technician (BMET) preferred. - 5 years of experience as a
Biomedical Equipment Technician or military trained Biomedical
Equipment Repair Technician. - Strong personal computer skills,
including proficiency in MS Word and Excel. - Excellent English
reading, verbal, and written communication skills. - Ability to
work independently and manage multiple priorities. - Ability to use
service manuals and schematics for equipment maintenance and
repair. Nice-to-haves - AA degree or Bachelor's degree in
Clinical/Biomedical Engineering preferred. - AAMI Certification
