*Job Overview*Our client is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate CT Technologist to join their healthcare team for a 13-week travel contract. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) technology. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy, medical imaging techniques, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The CT Technologist will ensure patient safety and comfort while delivering precise diagnostic evaluations.*Duties** Perform CT scans and other diagnostic imaging procedures as ordered by physicians.* Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring they understand the process and addressing any concerns.* Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedures.* Collaborate with radiologists and other medical professionals to ensure accurate diagnostic evaluations.* Maintain and operate CT equipment, performing routine quality control checks to ensure optimal performance.* Document patient information, scan results, and any relevant observations in accordance with medical protocols.* Adhere to safety standards and protocols to protect patients and staff from unnecessary radiation exposure.**Requirements** certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) with specialization in Computed Tomography (CT) is preferred NOT required* CA CRT required* 2 years of experience requiredJob Types: Full-time, ContractPay: $3,300.00 - $3,539.00 per weekBenefits:* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Referral program* Relocation assistance* Vision insuranceSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Night shiftWork Location: In personby Jobble
