• The painter reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor and indirectly to the Community Manager.
• Prepares walls and paints; performs drywall repairs and other related duties as directed.
• Apply coats of paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or lacquer to decorate and protect interior or exterior surfaces, trimmings, and fixtures of buildings and other structures by performing the following duties. -QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3-5 years of knowledge and demonstrated skills in performing quality drywall repairs; paint and varnish application.
  • Thorough knowledge of OSHA regulations relative to identified responsibilities; ability to read and interpret MSDS information relative to materials used in performing assigned duties.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skill in performing quality work; able to use required tools and machinery; professional interaction with co-workers, residents and vendors.
  • High school diploma or GED, technical school, or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills a must!
  • Ability to work weekends required.Salary range is $27.00-$28.25/hour.
