Position Overview:

Siemens Mobility is seeking to fill a Material Analyst to join our procurement team in Sacramento, CA or in our future location in Lexington, NC. This is a key contributor role to the serviceability of Siemens's customer owned vehicles by supporting the team in their procurement needs to help secure a supply of direct materials required throughout the vehicle's life cycle.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Drive SAP related topics that impact the Strategic Procurement Team. Point of contact for SAP related problem in pricing, part set up, PIR/ PO issues
  • Understand how each Supply Chain group uses SAP to help with day-to-day SAP issues.
  • Ensure supplier data in SAP is accurate and up to date
  • Manage, Organize, and Report Material Status.
  • Present to management/ partners when needed on material management process
  • Drive automation topics
  • Maintain business KPI of quoting within 30 days and review current process for PIR reporting, standardize process to help move data into Tableau/ Power BI.
  • Being a Problem Solver, Trusted Partner, Collaborator.
  • Lead GBS day to day to help guide the team members through problems as they arise, point them in the right direction to get any additional help as needed.
    To thrive in this role, you have:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering or other Business related degree.
    • Experience in project scheduling, project management, and project execution.
    • Advanced knowledge of SAP, particularly in Supply Chain scope.
    • Confirmed understanding of the entire supply chain.
    • Demonstrated data and financial analysis capabilities, knowledge of strategic sourcing concepts.
    • Microsoft Suite digital literacy, with outstanding skills in Excel & working with large data sets.
    • Setting you apart from others would be Excel reporting knowledge and demonstrated understanding and experience in the creation and implementation of Tableau-automated reporting, Robotic Process Automation (Direct programming not required), and use of AI to address supply chain problems. Use and programming of UiPath RPA and Tableau solutions is desired. Experience in Siemens business systems: SCM Star, GMDM, PAGA, NextGen, Qlik, & Source Monitor is a plus for internal candidates. And continuous improvement certifications, i.e., six sigma, Lean, & Change Management certifications is desired.

The base salary range for this position in Sacramento CA is $79,400-$107,200 and in Lexington NC is $72,100-$97,400. The actual salary/wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
