Job Description:
Redwood Credit Union is seeking a motivated Accounting Intern
who is currently in their Junior or Senior year in college . This
Internship will provide hands-on exposure to core accounting
functions, including accounts payable processing, bank and general
ledger reconciliations, and month-end close activities. Our
internship offers an introduction to accounting through practical
experience with vendor payments, fixed assets, cash ordering,
financial statement reporting, and related processes. Internship
Details This position is for a full-time, seasonal internship – 40
hours per week. This internship will begin on, June 8, 2026, and
end on August 14, 2026 (end date can be modified based on fall
college schedule). Ability to provide a recent transcript will be
required during the interview process. This position is not
eligible for benefits other than what’s required by law. Preferred
Majors Accounting Finance Business Administration/Management
Requirements Basic knowledge of general accounting practices and
principles. Basic knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook.
Detail-oriented and able to complete work quickly while maintaining
accuracy. Ability to perform data entry, including Accounts Payable
invoices. Strong service orientation. Ability to communicate
effectively verbally and in writing. Ability and desire to work in
a team-oriented environment. Ability to coordinate a variety of
activities simultaneously and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
Must be a Junior or Senior in college with a minimum of a 3.0 GPA.
Compensation $23.00/hourly Applications will be accepted through

applications after this date. Responsibilities Enter and code
Accounts Payable invoices. Obtain proper and appropriate approval
for Accounts Payable invoices. Assist in the Month End close
procedures as assigned. Support monthly General Ledger
reconciliation process. Support Bi-Weekly Payroll Process. Support
preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly reports. Foster positive
relationships with other Redwood Credit Union team members.
Physical Requirements Ability to stand, bend, stoop, sit, walk,
twist, and turn. Ability to lift up to 15 pounds. Ability to use a
computer keyboard and calculator. Work environment is indoors;
majority of the time is spent sitting at a desk. ABOUT REDWOOD
