Foreman position directs and manages multiple commercial HVAC
projects and serves as the liaison between the customer and the
project team. This role is tasked with ensuring project objectives
and timelines are met through leading by example and working
alongside Service Technicians in the field. The ideal candidate
will be well versed in performing HVAC retrofits, replacements, new
installs, startup, and field inspections and able to make system
recommendations based on manufacturer specifications and/or current
building codes. Who we are : Mark III is a full-service

from initial concept through long-term maintenance, with
specialized expertise in healthcare, higher education, industrial,
life science, and technology markets. Our integrated, big-picture
approach allows us to self-perform electrical, HVAC, plumbing,
process piping, prefabrication, and MEP design. By consolidating
these services under one organization, clients benefit from reduced
profit layers, minimized scope gaps, and simplified project
schedules—working with a single, accountable partner rather than
multiple consultants and subcontractors. Headquartered in
Sacramento, California, Mark III operates throughout California and
Nevada. Our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility serves as a
centralized hub supporting five core trades: HVAC, mechanical
piping, plumbing, electrical, and metal-stud framing. To support
our continued growth, we will be relocating from our current
combined 62,000 square feet of office and operational space to a
new 340,000-square-foot headquarters at 2031 Optisolar Lane , with
the move planned for completion by the end of Q2 2026 .
Requirements Responsibilities: Ensure customer satisfaction through
the life of the project by investigating concerns, implementing
corrective action and providing exceptional client communication
Work with crane operators to properly orient and set package units
and associated accessories (economizers, heat strips, etc.) Safely
and effectively use job-site equipment including Gradalls, scissor
lifts, and other large jobsite equipment Utilize project plans to
lay out and construct mechanical systems (units, duct, and all
other components) and provide input and/or feedback on mechanical
design and constructability. Install ductwork (spiral, rectangular
with duct mate, rectangular with s and drive, and TI flex duct) and
all attachments, supports, cleats, and proper hardware Install
sheet metal flashing using proper overlap, appropriate sealant,
screw patterns Be proficient at handling/constructing refrigerant
piping though skills such as designing effective and efficient
routing, brazing and the ability to purge lines Perform nitrogen
testing on piping systems using various tools including vacuum
pump, micron gauge and refrigerant gauges Perform necessary
controls wiring Follow manufacturer requirements while installing
of mini splits, pipe flaring, wiring Use a variety of hand tools to
install, diagnose, repair, program, and start-up HVAC equipment to
manufacturer specifications Complete all paperwork in a timely and
accurate manner including invoices, quote requests, weekly
timesheets, credit card reconciliation and purchase orders
Accurately report all times worked, including on sites, off sites,
and lunches Attend and participate in all meetings, training and
coaching Keep informed of all products and services offered by the
company Maintain all company tools, inventory, equipment, and
company vehicles Report all unsafe conditions to Safety Manager
Collaborate with Project Managers and Coordinators to schedule
manpower, resources, vendors and subs Meet production expectations
by looking ahead, setting goals for the team and ensuring that
projects are on track and will beat estimated hours Provide labor
and material estimates for use in the preparation and submission of
change order requests Problem solve and adapt to situations as they
arise Meet company performance standards regarding product quality,
labor and material expenditure and customer satisfaction by
providing effective supervision and leadership Create a
high-performing team through the development and mentorship of
younger talent Conduct performance reviews with direct reports to
recommend wage increases, promotions, training and disciplinary
actions Administer company mandated safety program which includes
JHAs, MOPs, safety tailgates, stretch-n-flex programs, LOTO
procedures, PPE Requirements, etc. Ability to retain, recall, and
apply job information in the field Capability of learning new
procedures and consistently applying them on active job sites
Qualifications: 5 years minimum of experience as an HVAC Service
Technician Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems including
RTUs, AHUs, Heat Pumps, VRF, VRVs, understanding Boilers, Chillers,
Cooling towers a plus. Understands not only Mechanical drawings but
all plan sets that affect Mechanical work (Electrical, Plumbing,
Civil, Landscape, Architectural, Structural, etc.) Good
communications skills (verbal and written) Ability to work in a
harsh environment, exposed to the elements, with physical activity
Willingness to travel and work overtime, when necessary Good
organizational and problem-solving skills Attention to detail
Ability to clearly and concisely document daily tasks and notes
Ability to work with and demonstrate use of electronic devices
(tablet, laptop, software, etc.) Able to work with people from
different backgrounds Excellent work ethic Ability to work under
high pressure Must be a team player Candidate should have his/her
own basic hand tools Canidate must have a clean CA DMV driving
